Kasper Cheung is Partner of Amrop China. He brings 30 years of people management, commercial leadership and retained executive search experience to Amrop's China team.

Based out of Shanghai, Kasper continues to build on his history of client success within the Greater China region.

Immediately prior to joining Amrop, Kasper was MD, Asia at ZRG Partners and before that he was Managing Partner, Greater China at Signium. He first entered the executive search profession with Boyden China in 2010.

Prior to executive search, Kasper was China Country Manager of two international education groups, based in Shanghai. Before relocating to Shanghai in 2003, he was Executive Director and Group HR Head at IDT International Group, a listed electronic manufacturer in Hong Kong and Singapore, and Group Director of HR and Admin at the Emperor Group, a listed conglomerate.

Kasper develops close client relationships with MNCs in Greater China and Asia, and helps them find their senior leaders and executives, that spans across multiple industries, including manufacturing, FMCG, consumer goods and luxury goods, F&B, and property development.

Kasper enjoys his learning of Chinese culture, such as Tai Chi and Er Hu, a traditional Chinese musical instrument. He is also an amateur ballroom dancer in Shanghai.

A Chinese executive with an international background and a China / Asia focus, Kasper graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne of England with an honors degree in Economics.
