Pengcheng (PC) Pan is a Partner at Amrop China based in Shanghai and Hong Kong. He has lived and worked in China, Germany, USA, Australia, and New Zealand.
His experience includes reputed 2B MNCs and agile 2C start-ups covering industries like brewery, F&B, processing & packaging, ingredients, chemicals, dairy, wellness, and consumer goods.
Pengcheng managed solution selling, product, international BD, digital marketing, innovation ecosystems and strategy development.
Early in his career, PC managed one of the earliest brewing JVs in China between Qingdao Brewery and Jebsen after being trained in Wuhan Brewing Academy as well as Doemens Brewing Academy in Munich.
He later spent 12 years with Tetra Pak Group in key markets including China, the USA and ANZ, and was part of their US based Global Key Account Team serving Coke and Pepsi, and later headed Commercial Operations for their biggest markets in China and ANZ. He collaborated with major global and local customers to create high value strategic partnerships.
Later, as Firmenich’s VP Sales of Greater China, PC led the deployment of innovative solutions focused on nature and health to major F&B and savory clients. More recently, PC was a management consultant serving Australian & Chinese clients in dairy & FMCG industries. He developed new value creating business lines for them through novel and customized solutions.
Just before joining Amrop, Pengcheng worked for Access, a fast-growing international consumer brand management start-up in Sydney. He led the creation of the R&D and contract manufacturing management teams and developed a think tank and ecosystem to incubate external innovation. He led its board advisors’ acquisition and the establishment of the ecosystem to drive research and commercialization collaborations.
