Naohiro “Nakki” Furuta is the CEO and Managing Partner of Amrop Jomon Associates and a Member of Amrop's Global Board.

In his role as CEO, Nakki leads a team of over ten executive search consultants, placing more than 100 executives and non-executive directors annually across a range of large Japanese multinationals, family-owned businesses, and startups. Under his leadership, Amrop Jomon Associates has become Japan’s leading executive search firm in terms of retained searches.

As an executive search consultant, Nakki has personally placed over 150 executives and non-executive directors and conducted over 20 executive assessments and coaching programs, particularly for publicly traded Japanese companies, over the past decade.

Before joining Amrop Jomon Associates, Nakki gained experience as a business analyst with Tomoegawa. He later worked for W.W. Grainger and its group company, MonotaRO, where he drove sales growth across the APAC region and launched an online store for MRO products.

Nakki joined Amrop Jomon Associates with a commitment to helping professionals achieve their career aspirations worldwide.

Nakki holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rikkyo University and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). He is also an active member and Vice President of the CMU Japan Network.
