Jan joined Amrop in 2025 as a Partner.

He brings 18 years of experience in executive search and leadership advisory, with a strong track record of recruiting C-level executives and senior specialists across the energy, industrial, and financial sectors in Norway and internationally. Prior to joining Amrop, Jan was Managing Partner at Agile Executive Search, where he led national and cross-border assignments for clients ranging from start-ups and scale-ups to global enterprises. He also served as Global Practice Leader for Energy, Mining & Natural Resources in the Intersearch Worldwide network.

Jan is a trusted advisor to boards and executive teams on leadership acquisition, succession planning, and organizational development. He combines deep sector knowledge in energy and renewables with a keen interest in how technology and geopolitical shifts shape future leadership demands.

He holds an MBA in Finance and Investments from the European School of Economics and a degree in Economics from Macquarie University in Sydney.
