Aaron Drewitt is an Associate Partner at Amrop UK, leading the firm’s Private Equity and Technology practice in the North of England.

Aaron specialises in senior executive and board-level appointments across the SaaS, software, and technology-enabled sectors, with a particular focus on Private Equity-backed businesses. He partners with founders, CEOs, NED’s and investors to deliver strategic leadership talent into fast-growth, often complex environments — particularly in pre- and post-transaction scenarios.

Prior to joining Amrop, Aaron was the founder of a boutique executive search firm focused on C-suite and Chair appointments within the UK’s mid-market PE ecosystem. He was also a senior leader at ecap, an international executive search business, where he supported clients across Europe and the UAE.

With deep experience across executive search and board advisory, Aaron has successfully led assignments across growth, turnaround, and buy-and-build contexts. He is valued by clients for his direct style, market knowledge, and ability to navigate demanding search mandates in competitive sectors.

Aaron lives in Manchester with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he is a keen runner, padel player, amateur property developer — and full-time weekend taxi driver for his kids.
