Amrop Welcomes New Partners in EMEA and Asia Pacific

Amrop strengthens its European and APAC consulting team with new Partner hires in Portugal, Italy and Singapore.

Filipe Morais, Independent Partner, Portugal

Filipe is an Independent Partner of Amrop Portugal, and a core member of Amrop’s global Board Services Practice. He is an expert on board governance and has published books, academic and practitioner articles, reports and case studies on the subject.

Filipe holds a doctorate in board governance and strategic leadership. He is a professor of governance and reputation at Henley Business School (UK), where he also is the Programme Director for the MSc in Management for Future Leaders. He teaches board governance, strategic leadership and corporate responsibility and ethics in Henley, INSEAD and other business schools.

Graziella Capellini, Partner – Board Advisory, Italy

Graziella brings 20 years' experience as head of Compliance in major financial institutions such as Unicredit, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. She has acted as senior advisor for consultancy firms such as Accenture and Nike consulting. She also supported various financial and fintech companies in setting up and re-engineering their internal control system.

Graziella has deep knowledge and experience in Corporate Governance, Internal control systems, remuneration, and regulatory related matters in the financial sector. At present she holds roles as independent director and company statutory auditor at asset managers, insurance companies, investment firms, fintech companies.

Roland Muller, Partner, Singapore

Roland has over 20 years of leadership experience in HR Management across various markets and continents, primarily in the Financial Services industry. A long-term trusted advisor to his business partners, he focused on talent management and building high-performing leadership teams. He worked with his business partners to provide talent solutions to address next-generation leadership and transformational challenges.

Prior to joining Amrop, Roland worked at renowned financial services institutions such as UBS, Credit Suisse, Société Générale, and ABN Amro, and before joining Amrop, Standard Chartered Bank. He has also spent time at SoftBank Investment Advisors, the Private Equity arm of the SoftBank conglomerate. Over the years, his work has taken him across the globe, working in Europe, the US, and Asia.
